12. The mandate of UNHCR does not cover Palestine refugees in Jordan, the Syrian Arab Republic, Lebanon, the West Bank or Gaza.

196. Primary care. UNRWA provided health-care services to Palestine refugees in Jordan through a network of 23 primary health-care facilities, 13 of which were inside refugee camps and 10 outside the camps.

UNRWA health care for Palestine refugees in Jordan was delivered through 23 primary health-care facilities, all of which provided family planning services, 21 of which contained laboratories, 17 of which provided special care for non-communicable diseases, and one of which operated radiology and physiotherapy units.
134 - الرعاية الصحية الأولية - قدمت الأونروا الرعاية الصحية إلى اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في الأردن من خلال 23 مرفقا من مرافق الرعاية الصحية الأولية توفر جميعها خدمات في مجال تنظيم الأسرة، واحتوى 21 مرفقا منها على مختبرات، وقدم 17 مرفقا منها رعاية خاصة بالنسبة للأمراض غير السارية، ويقوم أحدها بتشغيل وحدة للتصوير بالأشعة ووحدة للعلاج الطبيعي.

The situation of the Palestinian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria should also be taken into account; projects for improving the standard of living of Palestinian refugees in the West Bank and Gaza Strip should not be undertaken at the expense of projects for Palestinian refugees elsewhere.

At the same time, it was important to ensure that any adverse implications of the move for UNRWA's operational efficiency were minimized, and that UNRWA would continue to give due weight to the problems of Palestinian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and the Syrian Arab Republic.
