In that context, organizations within the United Nations system and other relevant organizations should support such efforts through further methodological work, particularly with reference to models for environmental economics, the impact of economic instruments, and the use of integrated economic and environmental accounting.

167. The formal mechanism for coordination of activities in the area of advancement of women is a network of focal points in the organizations of the United Nations system.
١٦٧ - اﻵلية الرسمية لتنسيق اﻷنشطة في مجال النهوض بالمرأة هي عبارة عن شبكة من مراكز التنسيق العاملة في المؤسسات الداخلة في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة.

54. The collective view of the secretariats of the organizations of the United Nations system is that the concept of sustainable development should continue to provide an " overarching " policy framework for the entire spectrum of United Nations activities in the economic, social and environmental fields at global, regional and national levels.
٥٤ - تتمثل وجهة النظر الجماعية ﻷمانات المؤسسات الداخلة في منظومة اﻷمم المتحدة في أن مفهوم التنمية المستدامة ينبغي له أن يواصل توفير إطار " كلي " للسياسات المتعلقة بمجموعة متنوعة كاملة من أنشطة اﻷمم المتحدة في الميادين الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والبيئية على الصعد العالمية واﻹقليمية والوطنية.

The Panel hopes that this important requirement will be respected by all the organizations in the United Nations system.
