In terms of policy-oriented work on issues of market access for LDCs, most generalized system of preferences (GSP) handbooks have been updated, since all initiatives in favour of LDCs such as the EU's " Everything but arms " (EBA) initiative and the United States African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) have been taken in the framework of the GSP schemes.
20- تمّ، بخصوص العمل المتعلق بالسياسات العامة المتصلة بوصول أقل البلدان نمواً إلى الأسواق، استيفاء معظم دلائل نظام الأفضليات المعمم، حيث إن كافة المبادرات المتخذة لصالح أقل البلدان نمواً، كمبادرة الاتحاد الأوروبي المسماة " كل شيء ما عدا الأسلحة " و " قانون تحقيق النمو وتوفير الفرص في أفريقيا " الصادر في الولايات المتحدة هي مبادرات تندرج في إطار مخططات نظام الأفضليات المعمم.

64 - نعزّز المبادرات المتخذة لصالح أقل البلدان نمواً عن طريق تنفيذ مشاريع في مجالات مثل بناء القدرات البشرية والإنتاجية، والمساعدة التقنية، وتبادل أفضل الممارسات، وخاصة في القضايا المتعلقة بالصحة والتعليم والتدريب المهني والبيئة والزراعة والعلم والتكنولوجيا والتجارة والاستثمار والطاقة والتعاون في مجال النقل العابر.

64. Mr. NIETO (Argentina), speaking in explanation of vote, said that his delegation had voted against the draft resolution because it deemed that the use of quotations from the Charter of the United Nations out of their proper context could call into question certain initiatives undertaken for the good of the international community as a whole.
