7. In its decision 19/III, the Committee requested the Secretariat to provide draft lists of issues and questions with regard to periodic reports which would be sent in advance of the meeting of the pre-session working group to those Committee members designated as country rapporteurs.

15. The Committee also decided that the Secretariat should prepare draft lists of issues and questions with regard to periodic reports, based on an analytical comparison of current reports of States parties with earlier reports, and the Committee’s discussion thereon, and other relevant information, including concluding observations of other treaty bodies with respect to the States parties concerned.
١٥ - وقررت اللجنة أيضا أن تعد اﻷمانة العامة مشاريع قوائم تضم القضايا والمسائل المتصلة بالتقارير الدورية استنادا الى مقارنة تحليلية بين التقارير الحالية المقدمة من الدول اﻷطراف والتقارير المقدمة من قبل، ومناقشات اللجنة لها والمعلومات اﻷخرى ذات الصلة ومن بينها الملاحظات الختامية من هيئات المعاهدات اﻷخرى المتعلقة بالدول اﻷطراف المعنية.

D. Lists of issues and questions with respect to periodic reports

26. He invited the Committee to consider and adopt the draft lists of issues relating to the periodic reports of Togo, Italy and Cyprus.

The Committee decided that the Secretariat should continue to provide to the pre-session working group draft lists of issues and questions with regard to periodic reports of States parties, based on a comparison of current reports with earlier reports and the Committee’s consideration of those reports and other relevant information, including concluding observations of other treaty bodies.

14. Over its past three sessions, the Committee has refined its method of preparing the lists of issues and questions with respect to periodic reports.

413. The Committee decided that the list of issues and questions with respect to periodic reports should normally be sent to States parties presenting their periodic reports within two weeks of the conclusion of the pre-session working group.

17. The working group prepared lists of issues and questions relating to the periodic reports of four States parties, namely, Chile, Ireland, Spain, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
١٧ - وقد أعد الفريق العامل قوائم بالقضايا والمسائل المتصلة بالتقارير الدورية لدول أطراف أربع، هي: أسبانيا، وأيرلندا، وشيلي، والمملكة المتحدة لبريطانيا العظمى وأيرلندا الشمالية.

16. A pre-session working group of the Committee was convened from 4 to 8 February 2002 to prepare lists of issues and questions relating to the periodic reports that would be considered by the Committee at the exceptional session.
