In Egypt, the quality and number of services available for the prevention and treatment of drug abuse among street children have been increased through the implementation of the National Strategy for the Protection, Rehabilitation and Integration of Street Children, prepared by UNODC in cooperation with the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood.
