1. The present report is intended to provide the Council with information on the status and outcome of the periodic reviews of the current contracts for exploration for polymetallic nodules, in accordance with regulation 28 of the Regulations on Prospecting and Exploration for Polymetallic Nodules in the Area.

Decides further to review any of the above measures at the request of the Government of Liberia, once the Government reports to the Council that the conditions set out in resolution 1521 (2003) for terminating the measures have been met, and provides the Council with information to justify its assessment;
3 - يقرر كذلك استعراض أي من التدابير المذكورة أعلاه بناء على طلب حكومة ليبريا فور تقديم الحكومة تقرير إلى المجلس يفيد باستيفاء الشروط المحددة في القرار 1521 (2003) لإنهاء العمل بالتدابير وفور تزويد المجلس بمعلومات تبرر تقييمها؛

The Government of the Sudan, a Member of the United Nations directly concerned with the issue under discussion, has the legitimate right to question the unjustifiable treatment reserved for the documents it has submitted with the genuine intention of explaining its position on one hand, and providing the Council with information that could enable it to have a holistic view of the matter under its consideration on the other hand.
وإن لحكومة السودان، باعتباره عضوا في الأمم المتحدة معنيا بشكل مباشر بالمسألة قيد المناقشة، حقا مشروعا في الاعتراض على الطريقة غير المبـررة التي عوملت بها الوثيقتـان اللتـان قدمتهمــا بنيــة صادقة لتوضيح موقفها، من جهة، وموافاة المجلس بمعلومات قد تمكنه من أن يـُـكوِّن نظرة شاملة عن المسألة قيد نظره، من جهة أخرى.

(c) To review any of the above measures at the request of the Government of Liberia, once the Government reports to the Council that the conditions set out in resolution 1521 (2003) for terminating the measures have been met and provides the Council with information to justify its assessment;
