UNODC is providing support for the implementation of the Santo Domingo Partnership and Monitoring Mechanism, adopted in Santo Domingo in February 2009, to strengthen regional cooperation in the fight against illicit drugs and crime.
ويقدّم المكتب الدعم من أجل تنفيذ آلية سانتو دومينغو للشراكة والرصد التي اعتمدت في سانتو دومينغو في شباط/فبراير 2009، وتقوية التعاون الإقليمي على مكافحة المخدرات غير المشروعة والجريمة.

As part of its comprehensive strategy to counter illicit drugs and crime in Afghanistan, the United Nations International Drug Control Programme (UNDCP) assessed the role of microfinance as a financing alternative to the current lending practices for the various components within the opium market, including the current work of women and children in the poppy fields.
53 - وكجزء من الاستراتيجية الشاملة التي يتبعها برنامج الأمم المتحدة للمراقبة الدولية للمخدرات (UNDCP) في مكافحة المخدرات غير المشروعة والجريمة في أفغانستان، قام البرنامج بتقييم دور تمويل المشاريع الصغرى كبديل للتمويل لممارسات الإقراض الحالية بالنسبة لمختلف العناصر في سوق الأفيون، بما في ذلك عمل النساء والأطفال حاليا في حقول نبات الأفيون.

(e) Increased gathering and analysis of data on drug, crime and terrorism problems by the Secretariat with a view to enhancing the evidence base for use in programmes and activities of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and by the international community. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime continued to carry out policy-oriented research and to maintain and improve the collection of data on illicit drugs and crime.
(هـ) زيادة جمع وتحليل البيانات المتعلقة بمشاكل المخدرات والجريمة والإرهاب من جانب الأمانة العامة، وذلك بهدف تعزيز قاعدة الأدلة لاستخدامها في برامج وأنشطة مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة ومن جانب المجتمع الدولي - واصل المكتب إجراء البحوث الموجهة نحو السياسات العامة، إلى جانب تعهد وتحسين مجموعة بياناته في مجالي المخدرات غير المشروعة والجريمة.

The ECOWAS Commission has also taken the necessary steps to implement the ECOWAS Political Declaration on the Prevention of Drug Abuse, Illicit Drug Trafficking and Organized Crime in West Africa and the Regional Action Plan to Address the Growing Problem of Illicit Drug Trafficking, Organized Crime and Drug Abuse in West Africa (2008-2011), starting with the strengthening of its existing structure for combating illicit drugs and crime.
51- واتخذت مفوضية الإيكواس أيضاً ما يلزم من خطوات لتنفيذ إعلان الإيكواس السياسي بشأن منع تعاطي المخدرات والاتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات والجريمة المنظمة في غرب أفريقيا وخطة عملها الإقليمية للتصدي لتفاقم مشكلة الاتجار غير المشروع بالمخدرات والجريمة المنظمة وتعاطي المخدرات في غرب أفريقيا (2008-2011)، فابتدأت بتقوية الهيكل الحالي لمكافحة المخدرات غير المشروعة والجريمة.
