Security Council resolution 1244 (1999) has unequivocally reaffirmed the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of yugoslavia in Kosovo and Metohija and it clearly defined a framework for the international civil and security presences in that Serbian province.
وقد أكد قرار مجلس اﻷمن ١٢٤٤ )١٩٩٩( من جديد وبصراحة السيادة والسلامة اﻹقليمية لجمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية في كوسوفو ومتوهيا، وحدد بوضوح إطارا للوجود المدني واﻷمني الدولي في ذلك اﻹقليم الصربي.

They expressed their support for the international civil and security presence in Kosovo, the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and the KFOR, and called upon all concerned to cooperate fully with them.
وأعربوا عن تأييدهم للوجود الدولي المدني واﻷمني في كوسوفو ولبعثة اﻷمم المتحدة لﻹدارة المؤقتة في كوسوفو وقوة كوسوفو )كفور( ودعوا كل المعنيين إلى التعاون مع هذه الكيانات.

16. Decides that the prohibitions imposed by paragraph 8 of resolution 1160 (1998) shall not apply to arms and related matériel for the use of the international civil and security presences;
١٦ - يقرر ألا تسري أشكال الحظر المفروضة بموجب الفقرة ٨ من القرار ١١٦٠ )١٩٩٨( على ما يخصص لاستعمال الوجودين المدني واﻷمني الدوليين من أسلحة وما يتصل بها من عتاد؛

The responsibility for this latest atrocity lies squarely with the United Nations civil and security presences who persist in their refusal to carry out the mandate of ensuring a secure environment for all inhabitants in Kosovo and Metohija entrusted them by Security Council resolution 1244 (1999).

In recalling that the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia has, on a number of occasions, called for its sovereign rights to be respected in its entire air space, the Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia requests the United Nations civil and security presences in Kosovo and Metohija to bring their flight operations into accord with the international air traffic obligations and competencies of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

Further to Security Council resolution 1244 (1999) relative to the deployment of the international civil and security presences in Kosovo and Metohija, the autonomous province of the Yugoslav constituent Republic of Serbia, under United Nations auspices, I have been instructed by my Government to advise you of the positions of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia regarding a consistent implementation of the said resolution:
باﻹشارة إلى قرار مجلس اﻷمن ١٢٤٤ )١٩٩٩( المتعلق بنشر العنصرين المدني واﻷمني من الوجود الدولي في مقاطعة كوسوفو وميتوهيا المستقلة ذاتيا في جمهورية صربيا إحدى جمهوريات يوغوسلافيا، تحت رعاية اﻷمم المتحدة، تلقيت تعليمات من حكومتي بإفادتكم بمواقف جمهورية يوغوسلافيا الاتحادية فيما يتعلق باتساق تنفيذ القرار المذكور:

Assembly members also welcomed, and pledged cooperation with, the future international civilian and security presences envisaged in the settlement proposal.
ورحّب أعضاء الجمعية أيضا بالوجودين الدوليين المدني والأمني مستقبلا المنصوص عليهما في اقتراح التسوية، وتعهدوا بالتعاون معهما.
