1 - ضمانا لنهوض صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان بولايته على نحو يتسم بالكفاءة والفعالية، يطلب إلى المديرة التنفيذية للصندوق أن تقدم إلى المجلس التنفيذي في دورته العادية الثانية لعام 2007 تقريرا شاملا عن الإطار الحالي للمساءلة في الصندوق وعن آليات الرصد والتقييم فيه.

Following extensive discussions on this issue, in late 2000 the executive heads of the two organizations informed the Secretary-General that they agreed that formal authority in matters of UNFPA personnel should be transferred to the Executive Director of UNFPA.
