Iranian women wishing to leave an abusive situation must prove the presence of a significant risk of bodily harm or a threat to their lives and safety, and those seeking to obtain a divorce as a result of domestic violence must prove that the abuse was intolerable.
وقال إنه يقع على عاتق المرأة الإيرانية التي ترغب في الخروج من حالة تتعرض فيها لسوء المعاملة أن تبرهن على وجود خطر داهم يعرضها للأذى الجسدي أو يهدد حياتها وسلامتها، ولا بد أيضا للمرأة التي تسعى إلى الحصول على الطلاق نتيجة للعنف العائلي أن تثبت أنها تتعرض لسوء المعاملة على نحو غير محتمل.

67. Participation rates of women in paid work are low, with Iranian women estimated to earn the lowest average incomes in Asia and the Pacific.
٦٧ - ومعدلات مشاركة المرأة في العمل بأجر منخفضة، حيث يقدر أن المرأة الإيرانية تكسب أدنى متوسطات الدخول في آسيا ومنطقة المحيط الهادئ.

III. THE STATUS OF WOMEN In his interim report to the General Assembly, the Special Representative concluded that despite well—meaning policy declarations, the creation of new women's organizations, and significant publicity about the importance of women, the Government had so far achieved little improvement in the condition of Iranian women.
26- يخلص الممثل الخاص في تقريره المؤقت المقدم إلى الجمعية العامة إلى أنه على الرغم من حسن نوايا التصريحات السياسية وتشكيل منظمات نسائية جديدة والدعاية الكبيرة لأهمية المرأة، فإن الحكومة لم تحسّن حتى الآن حالة المرأة الإيرانية إلا تحسينا قليلا.

65. His Government's concern for improving the status of Iranian women and expanding their roles in the economic and social development of the country was guided by the principles outlined in the Iranian Constitution and set forth in the Platform for Action and follow-up processes.
65- وأردف قائلا إن اهتمام حكومته بتحسين أوضاع المرأة الإيرانية وزيادة دورها في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للبلاد يسترشد بالمبادئ المذكورة في الدستور الإيراني وتلك الواردة في منهاج عمل بيجين وبعمليات المتابعة.

32. The policy implemented by the Islamic Republic of Iran with a view to improving the status of Iranian women and broadening their roles to ensure their active participation in the country's economic and social development was guided by the principle of gender justice in education, health, employment and politics.
32 - وواصل حديثه قائلاً إن السياسة التي تنفِّذها جمهورية إيران الإسلامية بهدف تحسين مركز المرأة الإيرانية وتوسيع مجال الأدوار التي تقوم بها لضمان مشاركتها النشطة في التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للبلد يوجهها مبدأ تحقيق العدالة بين الجنسين في مجالات التعليم والصحة والعمالة والسياسة.
