The Providers' Forum took note of a programme on GNSS applications focusing on building capacity, specifically by deploying instruments for the International Space Weather Initiative, developing a GNSS curriculum, utilizing regional reference frames and applying GNSS in various areas to support sustainable development.
9- أحاط منتدى مقدِّمي الخدمات علماً بالبرنامج المتعلق بتطبيقات النظم العالمية لسواتل الملاحة المركّز على بناء القدرات، خصوصاً بنشر الأجهزة اللازمة لتنفيذ المبادرة الدولية بشأن طقس الفضاء، ووضع منهاج دراسي خاص بالنظم العالمية لسواتل الملاحة، مع الاستفادة بالأطر المرجعية الإقليمية وتطبيق النظم العالمية لسواتل الملاحة في شتى المجالات دعماً للتنمية المستدامة.

This will be achieved by the full realization of the regional reference frames known as the African Geodetic Frame (for Africa), the Geocentric Reference System for the Americas (for Latin America and the Caribbean), the Reference Frame Sub-Commission and the European Position Determination System (EUPOS) (for Europe), and Asia-Pacific Reference Frame (for Asia and the Pacific).
