The World Space Observatory has been proposed as an important and effective means of establishing some of the necessary structures, not only for the benefit of the scientific community, but also for nations wishing to use space applications in the interest of accelerated and sustainable development.
اقترح المرصد الفضائي العالمي بوصفه وسيلة مهمة وفعالة لانشاء بعض الهياكل اللازمة لا لمصلحة الدوائر العلمية فحسب بل أيضا لﻷمم الراغبة في استخدام التطبيقات الفضائية من أجل التنمية المعجلة والمستدامة .

A prominent place should be given to the follow-up projects of the workshops on basic space science and the possible endorsement of the World Space Observatory concept.
وينبغي اعطاء مكان بارز لمشاريع متابعة حلقات العمل بشأن علوم الفضاء اﻷساسية ولامكانية تأييد مفهوم المرصد الفضائي العالمي .

37. The World Space Observatory project using T-170 telescope, which is being set up in the Russian Federation as part of the Spektr-UF project, may offer highly promising prospects for the field of astrophysics.
37- أمّا مشروع المرصد الفضائي العالمي باستخدام المقراب T-170 ، الذي يعمل الاتحاد الروسي على إنشائه كجزء من مشروع " Spektr-UF " ، فمن شأنه أن يفتح آفاقا واعدة في مجال الفيزياء الفلكية.

16. The participants also noted the progress made in increasing the active participation of developing countries in front-line space sciences, as had been emphasized in the assessment evaluation of the World Space Observatory concept carried out for WSO/UV.
16- ولاحظ المشاركون أيضا التقدم المحرز في زيادة المشاركة الفعالة من جانب البلدان النامية في علوم الفضاء الرائدة، وهو ما كان هناك تشديد عليه في التقييم التقديري الذي أجري لمفهوم المرصد الفضائي العالمي بخصوص مرصد الفضاء العالمي/الأشعة فوق البنفسجية.

22. It was noted that the World Space Observatory would present an excellent possibility to enable basic space scientists in developing countries to work and collaborate on an equal basis with their counterparts in the developed world.
٢٢ - لوحظ أن مفهوم المرصد الفضائي العالمي يوفر امكانية ممتازة تمكن علماء علوم الفضاء اﻷساسية في البلدان النامية من العمل والتعاون على قدم المساواة مع نظرائهم في العالم المتقدم النمو .

Through their own efforts in the field of education, those countries would be able to participate in international programmes with activities ranging from analysing data to being partners in space missions, as in the World Space Observatory concept.
وستستطيع هذه البلدان ، من خلال جهودها الخاصة في ميدان التعليم ، أن تشارك في البرامج الدولية ذات اﻷنشطة التي تتراوح بين تحليل البيانات والشراكة في البعثات الفضائية ، كما في مفهوم المرصد الفضائي العالمي .

Even though the World Space Observatory has, in the first instance, been defined in the context of the ultraviolet domain, the extension of the concept to other areas that require operations based in space would be an obvious bonus that could have a major impact on the way in which research in basic space science is conducted worldwide.
وعلى الرغم من أن المرصد الفضائي العالمي قد حدد أولا في بادىء اﻷمر في اطار مجال اﻷشعة فوق البنفسجية فان توسيع فكرته لتشمل المجالات اﻷخرى التي تتطلب عمليات تجري من الفضاء سيمثل فائدة اضافية واضحة يمكن أن يكون لها تأثير في الطريقة التي تجرى بها البحوث على مستوى العالم في مجال علوم الفضاء اﻷساسية .

This would mean integration of all activities on an international level—science, operations, data collection and maintenance and training—and would allow the international community as a whole to benefit directly from the innovative operational model used in the World Space Observatory.
وهذا يعني أن تكامل جميع اﻷنشطة على مستوى دولي - جمع البيانات والاحتفاظ بها والتدريب - سيتيح للمجتمع الدولي ككل أن يستفيد بصورة مباشرة من النموذج التشغيلي المبتكر المستخدم في المرصد الفضائي العالمي .

35. At the present stage, the World Space Observatory is concerned as a free-flying satellite with in-orbit assembly that would operate within the framework of the International Space Station.
٥٣ - في المرحلة الراهنة يجري تصور المرصد الفضائي العالمي باعتباره ساتلا طليقا يجري تجميعه في المدار ، ويعمل في اطار محطة فضائية دولية .
