1. The extension of a specific exemption for production of a chemical listed in Annex A or Annex B of the Convention may be granted by the Conference of the Parties to a State Party which requests such an extension pursuant to paragraphs 6 and 7 of Article 4 of the Convention if the following conditions have been met:
1 - قد يمنح مؤتمر الأطراف تمديداً لإعفاء محدد لإنتاج مادة كيميائية مدرجة في المرفق ألف أو المرفق باء للاتفاقية إلى دولة طرف تطلب تمديداً كهذا عملاً بالفقرتين 6 و7 من المادة 4 من الاتفاقية وذلك إذا ما استوفيت الشروط التالية:

Sous réserve de la disponibilité de ressources, le Secrétariat analyse les informations spécifiées dans le paragraphe 5 de la partie III de l'Annexe B à la Convention qui ont été communiquées par les Parties, ainsi que toute autre information pertinente et crédible disponible.
6 - تقوم الأمانة رهناً بتوافر الموارد، بتحليل المعلومات المحددة في الفقرة 5 من الجزء الثالث من المرفق باء للاتفاقية المقدمة من الأطراف، وأي معلومات أخرى متاحة ذات صلة وموثوق بها.

Evaluation of perfluorooctane sulfonic acid, its salts and perfluorooctane sulfonyl fluoride pursuant to paragraphs 5 and 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention

The evaluation shall take place no later than in 2015 and every four years thereafter, in conjunction with a regular meeting of the Conference of the Parties, in accordance with paragraph 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention.

The Secretariat maintains the registers of acceptable purposes for DDT and PFOS, its salts and PFOSF in accordance with paragraph 1 of parts II and III of Annex B to the Convention respectively.
13 - تتعهد الأمانة سجلين للأغراض المقبولة يخصان الـــــ دي دي تي، وحامض السلفونيك البيرفلوروكتاني وأملاحه وفلوريد السلفونيل البيرفلوروكتاني، وذلك وفقاً للفقرة 1 من الجزأين الثاني والثالث من المرفق باء للاتفاقية على التوالي.

Following further discussion in plenary and further revision of the three documents to reflect that discussion, the Committee adopted decision POPRC-10/4, on the process for the evaluation of PFOS, its salts and PFOSF pursuant to paragraphs 5 and 6 of part III of Annex B to the Convention.

(2) Has your country quantified the stockpiles consisting of, or containing, chemicals listed in Annex A or Annex B to the Convention?

The Secretariat will undertake, in collaboration with the World Health Organization, activities to improve the capacity of Parties to complete the questionnaire in order to fulfil their reporting requirements pursuant to paragraph 4 of Part II of Annex B of the Convention.

Les Parties sont priées d'utiliser ce formulaire pour également fournir au Secrétariat des informations concernant sa production et son utilisation d'acide perfluorooctane sulfonique, de sels de SPFO et de fluorure de perfluorooctane sulfonyle, comme le prévoit le paragraphe 5 b) de la partie III de l'Annexe B à la Convention.
