Urges Member States to participate actively in the meetings on the follow-up to the Security Conference on combating illicit trading in drugs and small and light arms held in New York in 2001, in particular the meeting to be held in New York from 7 to 11 July 2003 to follow-up the implementation of the work programme and requests the Secretary General to cooperate fully with Member States in order to prepare for these meetings.
