12. The Working Group agreed that States should be invited to study the background paper prepared by the Secretariat (A/AC.105/C.2/L.255 and Corr.1 and 2) and to submit information and views on the issues reflected in paragraph 11 above.

In discussing the item on technical assistance, the Conference may also wish to devote specific attention to opportunities offered through South-South cooperation and in this regard consider the background paper produced by the Secretariat on that subject (CAC/COSP/2011/CRP.2).

ولعلّ المؤتمر يودّ النظر في التوصيات التي قدّمها الفريق العامل في اجتماعيه الأول والثاني، الواردة في ورقة المعلومات الخلفية التي أعدّتها الأمانة بشأن عمل الفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي المفتوح العضوية المعني بمنع الفساد (CAC/COSP/2011/6).

The Conference may wish to give consideration to the above-mentioned and other proposals made by the Working Group, which are contained in the background paper prepared by the Secretariat on progress made in the implementation of the recommendations of the Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group on Asset Recovery (CAC/COSP/2011/7).
ولعلّ المؤتمر يودّ أن يولي الاعتبار للمقترحات المذكورة آنفاً والمقترحات الأخرى المقدَّمة من الفريق العامل، التي ترد في وثيقة المعلومات الخلفية التي أعدتها الأمانة عن التقدّم المحرز في تنفيذ التوصيات الصادرة عن الفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي المفتوح العضوية المعني باسترداد الموجودات (CAC/COSP/2011/7).

In particular, in its resolution 3/3, the Conference welcomed the conclusions and recommendations of the Working Group (CAC/COSP/WG.2/2009/3) and noted with interest the background paper prepared by the Secretariat on the progress made on the implementation of those recommendations (CAC/COSP/2009/7).
وبوجه خاص، رحَّب المؤتمر في قراره 3/3 باستنتاجات الفريق العامل وتوصياته (CAC/COSP/WG.2/2009/3)؛ وأحاط علماً باهتمام بورقة المعلومات الخلفية التي أعدّتها الأمانة عن التقدُّم المحرَز في تنفيذ تلك التوصيات (CAC/COSP/2009/7).

11. The Working Group agreed that, on the basis of the background paper prepared by the Secretariat (A/AC.105/C.2/L.255 and Corr.1 and 2) and discussions held in the Working Group, the following issues could be the focus of the attention of the Working Group at the forty-fifth session of the Legal Subcommittee, in 2006:

Bearing in mind the issues raised in the background paper prepared for this Workshop of the Twelfth Congress (A/CONF.213/12, para. 53), the Vice-Chair of Committee I, with the support of one Member State and without objection, explored with the participants whether the Workshop findings might be reflected in the outcome document of the Congress.

The Secretary of the Conference introduced the background paper prepared by the Secretariat on the alignment of rules and regulations of the members of the United Nations System Chief Executives Board for Coordination to the principles of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (CAC/COSP/WG.4/2010/5).

The representative of the Secretariat introduced the background paper prepared by the Secretariat entitled " Best practices for promoting responsible and professional reporting on corruption for journalists " (CAC/COSP/WG.4/2010/6).
44- وعرض ممثل الأمانة وثيقة المعلومات الخلفية التي أعدتها الأمانة والمعنونة " أفضل الممارسات لتشجيع الصحفيين على نشر تقارير صحفية عن الفساد تتسم بروح المسؤولية والطابع المهني " (CAC/COSP/WG.4/2010/6).

1. Germany welcomed the detailed analytical study contained in the background paper prepared by the Secretariat entitled " Practice of States and international organizations in registering space objects " (A/AC.105/C.2/L.255 and Corr.1 and 2) and was convinced that further efforts were necessary to reach an international harmonized practice in registering space objects.
1- ترحّب ألمانيا بالدراسة التحليلية المفصّلة الواردة في ورقة المعلومات الخلفية التي أعدّتها الأمانة، والمعنونة " ممارسات الدول والمنظمات الدولية في تسجيل الأجسام الفضائية " (A/AC.105/C.2/L.255 وCorr.1 وCorr.2) وتعرب عن اقتناعها بضرورة بذل المزيد من الجهود للتوصّل إلى ممارسة منسّقة دولية في مجال تسجيل الأجسام الفضائية.

Recalling its resolutions 1/4 and 2/3, in which it established and continued the work of the Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group on Asset Recovery, welcoming the conclusions and recommendations of the Working Group, and noting with interest the background paper prepared by the Secretariat on the progress made on the implementation of those recommendations,

In its resolution 3/3, the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption welcomed the conclusions and recommendations of the Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group on Asset Recovery (CAC/COSP/WG.2/2009/3) and noted with interest the background paper prepared by the Secretariat on the progress made on the implementation of those recommendations (CAC/COSP/2009/7).
1- رَحَّبَ مؤتمرُ الدول الأطراف في اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد، في قراره 3/3، باستنتاجات وتوصيات الفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي المفتوح العضوية المعني باسترداد الموجودات (CAC/COSP/WG.2/2009/3)، وأحاط علماً باهتمام بورقة المعلومات الخلفية التي أعدَّتها الأمانة عن التقدُّم المحرَز في تنفيذ تلك التوصيات (CAC/COSP/2009/7).

According to the background paper on the public sector and prevention of corruption; codes of conduct and public reporting (CAC/COSP/WG.4/2011/3), preventive measures promoting transparency and integrity in the public sector include the adoption of codes of conduct, requirements for financial disclosures and disciplinary measures against misconduct.
28- وبناء على ورقة المعلومات الخلفية التي تتحدث عن القطاع العام ومنع الفساد، ومدونات قواعد السلوك وإبلاغ الناس (الوثيقة CAC/COSP/WG.4/2011/3)، تتضمَّن التدابير الوقائية التي تعزز الشفافية والنـزاهة في القطاع العام اعتماد مدونات لقواعد السلوك ومتطلبات تقضي بالإفصاح عن الأمور المالية واتخاذ تدابير تأديبية عقاباً على سوء السلوك.
