In addition, the General Assembly would decide to revert to this item at its sixty-seventh session, and would also decide to appoint 25 Member States as members of the Advisory Committee on the Programme of Assistance for a period of four years beginning on 1 January 2012.

By the operative part of the draft resolution, the General Assembly would, inter alia, approve the guidelines and recommendations contained in the report of the Secretary-General on this item (A/50/726) and adopted by the Advisory Committee on the Programme of Assistance, which provide for the award of a number of international law fellowships and travel grants both in 1996 and in 1997, subject to the overall resources of the Programme.
وبموجب منطوق مشــروع القرار، توافق الجمعية العامة، في جملة أمـــور، علـــى المبادئ التوجيهية والتوصيات الواردة في تقرير اﻷمين العام بشأن هذا البند والتي اعتمدتها اللجنة الاستشارية المعنية ببرنامج المساعدة والتي تنص على تقديم عدد من الزمالات في مجال القانون الدولي ومنح السفر في كل مـــن عامــي ١٩٩٦ و ١٩٩٧ يتحدد على ضوء الموارد الكلية للبرنامج.

Decides to appoint twenty-five Member States, six from African States, five from Asia-Pacific States, three from Eastern European States, five from Latin American and Caribbean States and six from Western European and other States, as members of the Advisory Committee on the Programme of Assistance for a period of four years beginning on 1 January 2012;
