21. The Working Group on Minorities, at its eighth and ninth sessions, continued its discussion on the theme of the participation of minorities in public life.

4. Moreover, the Working Group on Minorities, at its most recent session in May 2001, proposed a regional approach to standard-setting for the protection of the rights of minorities and to institutional building for conflict prevention and resolution.

24. The Working Group on Minorities at its eleventh session focused attention on possible models for the peaceful resolution of minority issues based on good governance and the rule of law.
24 - وركز الفريق العامل المعني بالأقليات في دورته الحادية عشرة اهتمامه على النماذج الممكن استخدامها لحل قضايا الأقليات بالوسائل السلمية استنادا إلى الحكم الرشيد وسيادة القانون.

5. Requests the SecretaryGeneral to invite States, specialized agencies, other United Nations organs and bodies, nongovernmental organizations and scholars to submit comments on the commentary to the Declaration to the Working Group on Minorities at its sixth session;
5- ترجو من الأمين العام أن يدعو الدول والوكالات المتخصصة وسائر هيئات الأمم المتحدة وأجهزتها والمنظمات غير الحكومية والأساتذة الجامعيين إلى موافاة الفريق العامل المعني بالأقليات في دورته السادسة بتعليقاتهم حول التعليق على إعلان حقوق الأشخاص المنتمين إلى أقليات قومية أو إثنية وأقليات دينية ولغوية؛

130. At its fifty-second session, the Sub-Commission, in its resolution 2000/16, endorsed the conclusions and recommendations of the Working Group on Minorities at its sixth session as contained in its report (E/CN.4/Sub.2/2000/27).
130- وقد أيدت اللجنة الفرعية، في قرارها 2000/16 الذي اعتمدته في دورتها الثانية والخمسين، استنتاجات وتوصيات الفريق العامل المعني بالأقليات في دورته السادسة كما ترد في تقريره (E/CN.4/Sub.2/2000/27).
