At its twentieth session the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice considered the standing open-ended intergovernmental working group on governance and finance to be a useful forum for discussion and consultation among Member States and with the Secretariat and expressed appreciation for its work.

(أ) يعيد تأكيد القرار 52/13، ويقرّر تجديد ولاية الفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي الدائم المفتوح العضوية المعني بالحوكمة والتمويل حتى موعد دورة اللجنة التي ستعقد في النصف الأول من عام 2013، والتي ستُجري اللجنة أثناءها مراجعة وافية لكيفية عمل الفريق العامل وتنظر في تمديد ولايته؛

The representative of Cuba made a statement in connection with Commission resolution 52/13, annex, paragraph 6 (e), and informed the Commission that the Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations (Vienna), Norma M. Goicochea Estenoz, would be a candidate for the co-chairmanship of the standing open-ended intergovernmental working group on governance and finance to be established pursuant to that resolution.
171- وألقى ممثل كوبا كلمة بخصوص الفقرة 6 (هـ) من مرفق قرار اللجنة 52/13، وأبلغ اللجنة بأنّ الممثلة الدائمة لكوبا لدى الأمم المتحدة (فيينا)، نورما غواكوتشييا إيستينوس ستترشح للرئاسة المشتركة للفريق العامل الحكومي الدولي الدائم المفتوح العضوية المعني بالحوكمة والتمويل المقرر إنشاؤه عملا بذلك القرار.

The observer for the Czech Republic, speaking on behalf of the European Union, announced the candidature of Ignacio Baylina Ruiz (Spain) for the office of cochairman of the working group on governance and finance to be established by the Commission pursuant to its resolution 18/3.
189- وأعلن المراقب عن الجمهورية التشيكية، متكلما باسم الاتحاد الأوروبي، عن ترشيح إغناثيو بايلينا رويث (إسبانيا) لمنصب الرئيس المشارك للفريق العامل المعني بالحوكمة والتمويل الذي من المقرر أن تنشئه اللجنة عملا بقرارها 18/3.

4. Requests the Secretariat and the standing open-ended intergovernmental working group on governance and finance to develop, as a follow-up to the Strategy for the period 2008-2011 for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, an updated Strategy for the period 2012-2015, and to present such a strategy to the Commission at its reconvened twentieth session for its consideration, in the second half of 2011;
