280. The Committee is deeply concerned about the high percentage of people with disabilities in the State party.

(a) To gather data and information on the situation of children with disabilities in the State party and assess the impact of the action undertaken;

177. The Committee expresses its concern at the high rate of children with disabilities in the State party and at the lack of infrastructure, limited qualified staff, and specialized care and rehabilitation facilities to address their needs.

The Committee remains concerned at the lack of statistical data on children with disabilities in the State party, at the situation of children with physical and mental disabilities and, in particular, at the limited specialized health care, education and employment possibilities available to them, as well as at the very high rate of illiteracy among children with disabilities.

638. The Committee regrets the lack of official data on the number of children with disabilities in the State party and that children with disabilities continue to face various forms of discrimination.
638- تعرب اللجنة عن أسفها إزاء الافتقار لبيانات رسمية حول عدد الأطفال المعوقين في الدولة الطرف واستمرار هؤلاء الأطفال في مواجهة شتى أشكال التمييز.

516. While noting the existence of the Programa de Atención a Personas con Discapacidades and the creation of the Office of Representation for the Promotion and Social Integration for People with Disabilities, the Committee regrets the lack of official data on the number of children with disabilities in the State party and that children with disabilities continue to face various forms of discrimination.
516- تلاحظ اللجنة وجود برنامج الرعاية للمعوقين ومكتب التمثيل الذي تم إنشاؤه لدعم المعوقين وإعادة إدماجهم في المجتمع، وتعرب مع ذلك عن أسفها لقلة البيانات الرسمية المتعلقة بعدد الأطفال المعوقين في الدولة الطرف وأشكال التمييز المختلفة التي لا يزالوا يواجهونها.

While noting the adoption of the Act No. 19/95 on " the welfare of the handicapped " , the Committee is concerned at the very limited statistical data on children with disabilities in the State party and at the situation of children with physical and mental disabilities, and in particular at the limited specialized health care, education and employment possibilities available for them.
