At the 8th meeting of the Committee of the Whole, on 9 February 2001, the Committee approved the draft decision on the above subject for consideration by the Council on the basis of the compilation of draft decisions submitted by the working group on chemicals set up by the Committee to further consider this issue (UNEP/GC.21/CW/L.6).
