The new Special Rapporteur has formally been in charge of the mandate on freedom of religion or belief since 24 July 2004 and will, therefore, in the present report, limit herself to presenting the communications that have been transmitted by her predecessor as well as the replies received, and will recall the other main achievements in the mandate.

24. Considering these challenges, the new Special Rapporteur will make an effort to disseminate to the different actors involved in housing and territorial planning the rights-based approach to housing developed by her predecessor, using different instruments and media.

75 - السيد لي لينلين (الصين): أعرب عن تهانيه للسيدة كونسبسيون إسكوبار هرنانديز على تعيينها بصفة المقررة الخاصة الجديدة المعنية بمسألة حصانة مسؤولي الدول من الولاية القضائية الجنائية الأجنبية وعلى كونها أول امرأة تتبوأ منصب مقرر اللجنة.

73. Mr. Song (Singapore) said that his delegation looked forward to the new perspective that the new Special Rapporteur would bring to the Commission's work on the topic of immunity of State officials from foreign criminal prosecution and hoped that she would adopt a balanced approach.
