Part I of the proposed programme budget covers section 1, Overall policy-making, direction and coordination ($42,219,300) and section 2, United Nations integrated offices ($3,604,900).
أولا - ١ إن الجزء اﻷول من الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة يغطي الباب ١، تقرير السياسات والتوجيه والتنسيق عموما )٠٠٣ ٩١٢ ٢٤ دولار(، والباب ٢، المكاتب المتكاملة لﻷمم المتحدة )٠٠٩ ٤٠٦ ٣ دولار(.

I.13. The estimate for United Nations integrated offices (section 2) amounts to $3,604,900, as shown in table 2.1 of the proposed programme budget.
أولا - ١٣ وتبلغ تقديرات المكاتب المتكاملة لﻷمم المتحدة )الباب ٢( ٩٠٠ ٦٠٤ ٣ دولار على النحو المبين في الجدول ٢-١ من الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة.

2.5 The overall strategy for the establishment and operation of the United Nations integrated offices in the biennium 1994-1995 is to provide a unified United Nations presence in certain countries and to facilitate a practical and effective dialogue between the United Nations and its programmes, funds and offices and the new Member States.
٢-٥ والاستراتيجيــة العامــة ﻹنشــاء وتشغيــل المكاتب المتكاملة لﻷمم المتحدة في فترة السنتين ٤٩٩١-٥٩٩١ هي توفير وجود موحد لﻷمم المتحدة في بلدان معينة وتيسير إجراء حوار عملي وفعال بين اﻷمم المتحدة وبرامجها وصناديقها ومكاتبها من جانب والدول اﻷعضاء الجديدة من جانب آخر.

2.12 The United Nations integrated offices thus provide an opportunity to take a new approach to United Nations representation at the country level, which addresses in a comprehensive way the political, socio-economic, environmental and humanitarian dimensions of the situation in which each of the countries concerned finds itself.
٢-٢١ وبذلك توفر المكاتب المتكاملة لﻷمم المتحدة فرصة لاتباع نهج جديد لتمثيل اﻷمم المتحدة على المستوى القطري يعالج بطريقة شاملة اﻷبعاد السياسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والبيئية والانسانية للحالة التي يجد كل بلد من البلدان المعنية نفسه فيها.

I accordingly propose that the seven existing interim offices, together with those which are being established at Asmara and in Moscow, be confirmed in existence by the General Assembly, at which point it would be my intention to change the title of those offices to " United Nations integrated offices " .
وعليه، فإني اقترح أن تصدق الجمعية العامة على وجود المكاتب المؤقتة السبعة الحالية، بجانب المكتبين الجاري انشاؤهما في أسمرة وموسكو، وعندئذ أعتزم تغيير اسم هذه المكاتب الى " المكاتب المتكاملة لﻷمم المتحدة " .

12. At the 43rd meeting, the Chairman of the Advisory Committee said that the Advisory Committee had recommended deletion of the estimate of $3.6 million proposed by the Secretary-General under section 2 (United Nations integrated offices) of the proposed programme budget, for the reasons indicated in its report c/ pending the outcome of the deliberations of the Second Committee.
١٢ - في الجلسة ٤٣، قال رئيس اللجنة الاستشارية إن اللجنة الاستشارية أوصت بحذف التقدير البالغ ٣,٦ مليون دولار الذي اقترحه اﻷمين العام في إطار الباب ٢، )المكاتب المتكاملة لﻷمم المتحدة( من الميزانية البرنامجية المقترحة لﻷسباب الواردة في تقريره)ج(، ريثما تظهر نتائج مداولات اللجنة الثانية.
