Noting with appreciation the work undertaken by the Government of France to improve the translation into French of the lists of wastes contained in Annexes VIII and IX,

1. Decides to incorporate the modifications proposed by the Government of France into the French language version of the lists of wastes contained in Annexes VIII and IX;

1. The review or adjustment of the lists of wastes contained in Annexes VIII and IX of the Basel Convention can entail either amendments or corrections of those annexes.

20. The decisions of the Open-ended Working Group on the placement or removal of wastes on the lists contained in Annexes VIII and IX shall be transmitted in a report of the Open-ended Working Group through the secretariat to the following meeting of the Conference of the Parties.

1. The review or adjustment of the lists of wastes contained in Annexes VIII and IX of the Basel Convention can entail either amendments or corrections of those annexes.
1 - يمكن أن ينطوي الاستعراض أو تعديل قوائم النفايات على إجراء تعديلات أو تصويبات على الملحقين الثامن والتاسع من اتفاقية بازل.

2. By a letter received on 13 August 2003, the Government of India submitted an application for the placement of new entries regarding plastic coated cable scrap in Annex VIII and Annex IX. That application was circulated as an information document to the Open-ended Working Group at its second session in October 2003.
2 - وبموجب رسالة تم تلقيها في 13 آب/أغسطس 2003، قدمت حكومة الهند طلباً لوضع قيود (مدخلات) جديدة على خردة الكابلات المغلفة بمواد لدائنية في الملحقين الثامن والتاسع. وعمم هذا الطلب بوصفه وثيقة إعلامية للفريق العامل مفتوح العضوية في دورته الثانية في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2003.

(f) Note that the eighth and ninth Supplements to the Repertoire of the Practice of the Security Council had been published in French and that the tenth Supplement was scheduled to be published in English by the beginning of 2000 and in French in the second half of 2000;
