I would like to recall that the jurisdiction of the Tribunal is not limited to disputes arising out of the interpretation or application of the Convention.

The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) is an international judicial body established by the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea ( " the Convention " ) to adjudicate disputes arising out of the interpretation or application of the Convention.
