The group noted that the secretariat has established contacts with a number of international organizations and initiatives such as UNIDO, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), CTI and the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) with a view to developing and implementing a training programme on preparing technology transfer projects.

The secretariat is requested to make available the results of TNAs, related experience and lessons learned in the TNA process and to share them at national and international levels through the network of technology information centres, including through the organization of workshops in collaboration with relevant international organizations and initiatives;
(ز) يُطلب من الأمانة أن تتيح نتائج عمليات تقييم الاحتياجات للتكنولوجيا وما يتصل بها من خبرة ودروس مستفادة من عمليات تقييم الاحتياجات للتكنولوجيا، وتبادلها على الصعيدين الوطني والدولي عن طريق شبكة مراكز المعلومات المتعلقة بالتكنولوجيا، بما في ذلك عن طريق تنظيم حلقات عمل بالتعاون مع المنظمات والمبادرات الدولية ذات الصلة؛

Relevant international organizations and initiatives, such as CTI, in collaboration with the TDTB and the secretariat, are invited to provide technical support through coaching and training programmes for project developers in developing countries and countries with economics in transitions (EITs) to transform project ideas resulting from TNAs into project proposals that meet the standards of the international financial providers;
(أ) تُدعى المنظمات والمبادرات الدولية ذات الصلة، مثل المبادرة المتعلقة بتكنولوجيا المناخ، بالتعاون مع مجلس تطوير ونقل التكنولوجيا والأمانة، إلى تقديم دعم تقني عن طريق برامج التدريب لمطوري المشاريع في البلدان النامية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية بغية تدريبهم على تحويل أفكار المشاريع الناتجة عن تقييمات الاحتياجات للتكنولوجيا إلى مقترحات مشاريع تلبي معايير مقدمي التمويل الدوليين؛

The EGTT noted the ongoing collaboration and support provided by a number of international organizations and initiatives such as the GEF, UNDP, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the CTI in supporting the implementation of the technology transfer framework.

The SBSTA welcomed the UNFCCC training package on preparing technology transfer projects for financing, which resulted from the training programme on project preparation implemented by the secretariat in collaboration with international organizations and initiatives in response to a request made by the COP at its thirteenth session.
