وسيستفيد الطابع الدولي لخدمات الاتصالات الساتلية من زيادة المواءمة الدولية في استخدام الترددات وفي سياسات الوصول إلى الأسواق وفي المواصفات المفتوحة والمتيحة للتواصل بشأن المعدات الطرفية الخاصة بالمستعملين.

The Commission paid special attention to road safety, concentrating on the international harmonization of road traffic regulations, road signs and signals by updating legal instruments and adopting recommendations.
وأولت اللجنة اهتماما خاصا لموضوع سلامة الطرق، مع التركيز على المواءمة الدولية للاشتراطات المتعلقة بأنظمة المرور البري، ولافتات وإشارات الطرق، عن طريق استكمال الصكوك القانونية المرتبطة بذلك واعتماد التوصيات ذات الصلة.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Forests may wish to endorse this process and encourage the parallel and cooperative development of existing and proposed international schemes, as well as national and regional schemes, with the overall objective of achieving international harmonization and mutual recognition of standards.
وربما يود الفريق الحكومي الدولي المخصص للغابات تأييد هذه العملية ويشجع الوضع الموازي والتعاوني للخطط الدولية الحالية والمقترحة باﻹضافة الى الخطط الوطنية واﻹقليمية وذلك بغية تحقيق الهدف الشامل المتمثل في تحقيق المواءمة الدولية والاعتراف المتبادل بالمعايير.

362. The Commission also made progress in the international harmonization of requirements for the construction of vehicles, covering a wide range of factors relating to active and passive safety, environmental protection, energy consumption and the removal of technical barriers to trade.
٣٦٢ - وأحرزت اللجنة تقدما أيضا في المواءمة الدولية للشروط المتعلقة ببناء المركبات، التي تغطي نطاقا واسعا من العوامل المتصلة بالسلامة الفعلية والسلبية، وحماية البيئة، واستهلاك الطاقة، وإزالة العوائق التقنية التي تعرقل التجارة.

6- سيستفيد الطابع الدولي لخدمات الاتصالات الساتلية من زيادة المواءمة الدولية في استخدام الترددات وفي سياسات الوصول إلى الأسواق، وفي المعايير المفتوحة والقابلة للتشغيل المتبادل لمعدات المحطات الطرفية الخاصة بالمستعملين؛

The disadvantages were (a) such agreements often contained quantitative restrictions, resulting in higher transport costs; (b) wider international harmonization was not ensured and (c) they were costly to administer.
أما مساوئُها فهي (أ) أن هذه الاتفاقات كثيراً ما تتضمن قيوداً كمية، ما تترتب عليه تكاليف نقل أعلى؛ (ب) أنها لا تكفل المواءمة الدولية على نطاق أوسع؛ (ج) أن إدارتها مكلفة.

Recognizing also that the reliability of the analysis and results of such laboratories has significant implications for the justice system, law enforcement and preventive health care, as well as for the international harmonization of data and worldwide exchange and coordination of drug information, and that access to reference samples of controlled substances is an essential quality assurance requirement for achieving such reliability,
وإذ تدرك أيضاً أنَّ موثوقية التحليلات التي تجريها تلك المختبرات والنتائج التي تتوصل إليها لها أثرها الكبير في نظام العدالة وإنفاذ القوانين والرعاية الصحية الوقائية وكذلك في المواءمة الدولية للبيانات وتبادل المعلومات عن المخدّرات وتنسيقها على نطاق العالم، وأنَّ الحصول على عيّنات مرجعية من المواد الخاضعة للمراقبة يمثّل شرطاً أساسياً من شروط ضمان الجودة لتحقيق الموثوقية المطلوبة،

(c) international harmonization and mutual recognition of standards on timber certification will require detailed information on both forest management practices globally and the process chain of custody from the forest stand in producer countries to final product in consumer countries for the wide variety of timber products traded internationally.
)ج( تقتضي المواءمة الدولية والاعتراف المتبادل بالمعايير المتعلقة باعتماد اﻷخشاب معلومات تفصيلية عن كل من أساليب إدارة الغابات عالميا وسلسلة عمليات اﻹشراف من مواقع الغابات في البلدان المنتجة إلى المنتج النهائي في البلدان المستهلكة بالنسبة للتشكيلة الواسعة من منتجات اﻷخضاء المطروحة للتفاعل دوليا.
