(c) Based on the new policy, formulate a comprehensive strategy and establish clear targets to eliminate negative attitudes and practices and deep-rooted stereotypes that discriminate against girls and have the potential to hamper the development of their personality, talents and mental and physical abilities to their fullest potential;

(ج) وضع استراتيجية شاملة، تتضمن تعريفاً واضحاً للأهداف، وإنشاء آلية للرصد، بهدف تعديل المواقف والممارسات السلبية والقوالب النمطية المتأصلة التي تميز ضد البنات والنساء والأطفال ذوي الإعاقة على حد سواء، والقضاء عليها؛

Social mobilization, awareness-raising and advocacy, as well as alliances with power-holders at different levels, in both formal and informal settings, are required to increase awareness and knowledge about girls' rights and change negative attitudes and practices that discriminate against them and perpetuate stereotypical behaviour and expectations.
