The number of rural women living in absolute poverty is increasing at a faster rate than for men and the proportion of women among the poor is growing in all societies.

" (d) Integrating a gender perspective into the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development policies and programmes, including budget policies, paying increased attention to the needs of rural women in order to ensure that they benefit from policies and programmes adopted in all spheres and that the disproportionate number of rural women living in poverty is reduced;
" (د) إدراج منظور جنساني في تصميم السياسات والبرامج الإنمائية، بما فيها سياسات الميزانية، وتطبيقها ورصدها وتقييمها، مع إيلاء مزيد من الاهتمام لاحتياجات المرأة الريفيــــة، بما يضمن استفادتها من السياســــات والبرامج التي يتم إقرارها في جميع المجالات، وبما يضمن خفض العدد اللامتناسب من النساء الريفيات اللائي يعشن في فقر؛

" (c) Integrating a gender perspective into the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development policies and programmes, including budget policies, paying increased attention to needs of rural women so as to ensure that they benefit from policies and programmes adopted in all spheres and that the disproportionate number of rural women living in poverty is reduced;
