In order for amendments to come into effect by 1 January 2007, as agreed by the Committee at its seventh session, they would have to be recommended by the Harmonized System Committee of WCO to the body's Council, and adopted by the WCO Council by mid-2004.
ومن أجل دخول التعديلات حيز النفاذ بحلول 1 كانون الثاني/يناير 2007، حسبما وافقت عليه اللجنة في دورتها السابعة، فإنه ينبغي للجنة النظام المنسق التابعة لمنظمة الجمارك العالمية أن تقدم توصيات بها إلى مجلس هذا الجهاز وأن يعتمدها مجلس منظمة الجمارك العالمية بحلول منتصف 2004.

Those amendments were adopted at the 33rd Session of the World Customs Organization Harmonized System Committee in May 2004 and came into effect in August 2004.
واعتُمدت هذه التعديلات في الدورة الثالثة والثلاثين للجنة النظام المنسق التابعة لمنظمة الجمارك العالمية المعقودة في أيار/مايو 2004، وبدأ العمل بها في آب/أغسطس 2004.

Since parties have made no new requests for lists of wastes covered under the Basel Convention to be submitted for consideration for inclusion in the World Customs Organization Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, the Secretariat has made no new submissions to the Harmonized System Committee of the World Customs Organization.
5 - ونظراً لعدم تقديم الأطراف لأي طلبات جديدة لإدراج نفايات مشمولة باتفاقية بازل، من أجل تقديمها والنظر في إدراجها في النظام المنسق لتوصيف السلع الأساسية وترميزها التابع لمنظمة الجمارك العالمية، فإن الأمانة لم تقدم أية إفادات جديدة إلى لجنة النظام المنسق التابعة لمنظمة الجمارك العالمية.

2. Invites parties to submit to the Secretariat lists of wastes covered under the Basel Convention for consideration by the secretariat of the Harmonized System Committee of the World Customs Organization;

Appeals to parties and members of the World Customs Organization Harmonized System Committee to finalize by 2014 the outstanding work on the identification of wastes subject to the Convention in the World Customs Organization Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System;

On 23 April 2012, pursuant to paragraph 2 of decision BC-10/10, the Secretariat invited parties to submit to it, by 31 May 2012, lists of wastes covered under the Basel Convention for consideration by the WCO Harmonized System Committee.
4 - وفي 23 نيسان/أبريل 2012 دعت الأمانة الأطراف، عملاً بالفقرة 2 من المقرر ا ب-10/10، لتزويدها، بحلول 31 أيار/مايو 2012، بقوائم بالنفايات المشمولة باتفاقية بازل لتنظر فيها لجنة النظام المنسق التابعة لمنظمة الجمارك العالمية.

The Open-ended Working Group will have before it a note by the Secretariat on classification and hazard characterization of wastes: review of cooperation with the World Customs Organization and its Harmonized System Committee (UNEP/CHW/OEWG.9/9).

In its decision BC-10/10, on the review of cooperation with the World Customs Organization (WCO) and its Harmonized System Committee, the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention requested the Secretariat to pursue its cooperation with the secretariat of the Organization and the Organization's Harmonized System Committee, Harmonized System Review Subcommittee and Scientific Subcommittee.
1- طلب مؤتمر الأطراف في اتفاقية بازل إلى الأمانة، في مقرره ا ب-10/10 بشأن استعراض التعاون مع منظمة الجمارك العالمية ولجنة النظام المنسق التابع لها، أن تواصل تعاونها مع أمانة المنظمة ولجنة النظام المنسق التابعة لها واللجنة الفرعية لاستعراض النظام المنسق واللجنة الفرعية العلمية.
