1. The United States has stringent laws in place regarding the management and disposal of hazardous wastes and the transboundary movement of these wastes and has long supported the underlying principles of the Basel Convention.
١- لدى الولايات المتحدة قوانين صارمة فيما يتعلق بتصريف النفايات الخطرة والتخلص منها وحركة نقل هذه النفايات عبر الحدود وهي تؤيد منذ أمد طويل المبادئ اﻷساسية لاتفاقية بازل.
