Most of them, it was pointed out, explained optional texts included in parentheses in the revised Model Law and made it clear that they would not be part of the national law enacted on the basis of the revised Model Law.
وأُشير إلى أنَّ معظم هذه الحواشي يشرح نصوصاً اختياريةً واردةً بين قوسين في القانون النموذجي المنقَّح ويوضح أنها لن تكون جزءاً من القانون الوطني الذي سيُشترع على أساس القانون النموذجي المنقّح.

The point was made that footnote 14 accompanying article 69 was unclear in that latter respect but that deficiency should not undermine the importance of retaining the footnote in the revised Model Law.
وأُكِّد على أنَّ الحاشية 14 المصاحبة للمادة 69 غير واضحة فيما يتعلق بذلك الشق الأخير، ولأنَّ هذا القصور لا ينبغي أن يقلل من أهمية الإبقاء على الحاشية في القانون النموذجي المنقّح.

After discussion, support was reiterated for retaining footnote 14 in the revised Model Law.

The complexities involved in selection of a procurement method under the revised Model Law were noted.

7. The working draft is submitted to the Commission to assist it with its consideration of the draft revised Model Law.
