In this connection, the dialogue between the United Nations and the Bretton Woods institutions should be continued and intensified with a view to creating optimal conditions for ensuring that the new international financial architecture reflects the global interests of the international community.
وفي هذا السياق، ينبغي مواصلة الحوار بين اﻷمم المتحدة ومؤسسات بريتون وودز وتكثيف ذلك الحوار، بغرض تهيئة الظروف المثلى التي تكفل أن يعكس الهيكل المالي الدولي الجديد المصالح العالمية للمجتمع الدولي.

It is a regrettable contradiction to think that we could reform the security system by making it less democratic and more exclusive at a time when the Group of 7 demands more democracy and greater transparency on the part of the financial bodies in the construction of a new international financial architecture.

In that regard, we believe that the efforts to develop a constructive dialogue among all actors involved in creating a new international financial architecture are particularly significant.

6 - ويتعين اعتماد حلول الأزمة الاقتصادية العالمية وتحديد الهيكل المالي الدولي الجديد بمشاركةٍ من المائة واثنين وتسعين بلدا التي ستجتمع، في الفترة من 1 إلى 3 حزيران/يونيه، في إطار مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة المعني بالأزمة المالية الدولية، من أجل اقتراح إنشاء نظام اقتصادي دولي جديد.

The developing countries’ regional groups and coalitions, such as the Group of 77, the Group of 24, the Group of 15 and the Rio Group, should strengthen their participation in the dialogue with the Group of Seven, other industrialized countries and international financial institutions, with a view to ensuring the consistency and universality of economic policy measures and to designing and setting up the new international financial architecture.

We agree that in order to speed up the establishment of the proposed new international financial architecture, it is necessary to strengthen regional systems through the promotion of supportive financial and monetary institutions based on solidarity, cooperation, endogenous regional development and the formation of more democratic, fair and equitable societies within the framework of respect for national independence and sovereignty.
ونتفق على أن الإسراع بإنشاء الهيكل المالي الدولي الجديد المقترح يقتضي تعزيز الأنظمة الإقليمية من خلال الترويج لمؤسسات مالية ونقدية مواتية انطلاقاً من رؤية تقوم على التضامن والتعاون والتنمية الإقليمية الداخلية وبناء مجتمعات أكثر ديمقراطية وعدلا ومساواة في إطار احترام الاستقلال الوطني والسيادة الوطنية.

Those consultations on the international financial crisis brought all of us together to examine collaboratively both the urgency and magnitude of the problem and practical steps to deal with them, resulting in the establishment of a high-level commission that will continue to provide guidance and innovative ideas regarding how the Assembly can contribute to the new international financial architecture that, as all of us recognize, is needed.
وتلك المشاورات بشأن الأزمة المالية الدولية جمعتنا معا لندرس بصورة تعاونية إلحاح المشكلة وحجمها على حد سواء والخطوات العملية التي يتعين اتخاذها للتصدي لهما، مما أسفر عن إنشاء لجنة رفيعة المستوى ستواصل تقديم التوجيه والأفكار الإبداعية فيما يتعلق بكيفية تمكن الجمعية من الإسهام في الهيكل المالي الدولي الجديد الذي تدعو الحاجة إليه، على النحو الذي نعترف به جميعا.
