285. The Dag Hammarskjöld Library has further increased its “virtual library” capacity by using the Internet to link to United Nations depository libraries and other major libraries around the world.
٥٨٢ - وعملت مكتبة داغ همرشولد على زيادة قدرة " مكتبتها اﻹلكترونية " باستخدام اﻹنترنت للربط بالمكتبات الوديعة لﻷمم المتحدة وغيرها من المكتبات الكبرى حول العالم.

42. Publications of the Department are generally distributed free of charge to United Nations information centres and services, regional commissions and other United Nations offices in the field, representatives of intergovernmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, media and research organizations, United Nations depository libraries and government offices.
٤٢ - ومنشورات اﻹدارة توزع عموما بالمجان على مراكز ودوائر اﻹعلام باﻷمم المتحدة واللجان اﻹقليمية وسائر مكاتب اﻷمم المتحدة في الميدان، وممثلي المنظمات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية ووسائط اﻹعلام ومنظمات البحوث والمكتبات الوديعة لﻷمم المتحدة والمكاتب الحكومية.

Basic telecommunication indicators, together with survey data on availability of new technologies at United Nations depository libraries (see annex I), as well as the results of the present study, show that these technologies are not widely accessible to most redisseminators of information on the United Nations.
فالمؤشرات المتعلقة بالاتصالات، باﻹضافة إلى بيانات الدراسات الاستقصائية عن مدى توافر التكنولوجيات الجديدة في المكتبات الوديعة لﻷمم المتحدة )انظر المرفق اﻷول(، فضلا عن نتائج هذه الدراسة، تبيّن أن هذه التكنولوجيات ليست بمتاحة على نطاق واسع لمعظم الجهات التي تعيد نشر معلومات عن اﻷمم المتحدة.
