Work to be undertaken: the delegation of Cyprus will organize a workshop on land-use and urban transport in 2003. The workshop will address practical experience in the environmentally sound management of urban transport integrated with sustainable land-use planning.

In this spirit, I strongly protest the aforementioned remarks made by the Greek Cypriot delegate in the Second Committee as yet another manifestation of ill intent, insincerity and intransigence on the part of the Greek Cypriot side.
