1. On 12 December 1995, the General Assembly adopted resolution 50/70 O, entitled " Moratorium on the export of anti-personnel landmines " , operative paragraphs 1 to 3 of which read as follows:
١ - في ١٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٥، اتخذت الجمعية العامة القرار ٥٠/٧٠ سين المعنون " الوقف الاختياري لتصدير اﻷلغام البرية المضادة لﻷفراد " ، وفيما يلي نص الفقرات ١ إلى ٣ من منطوقه:

Poland was among the sponsors of last year's General Assembly resolution 48/75 K on a moratorium on the export of land-mines.
لقد كانت بولندا من بين من تبنوا قرار الجمعية العامة في العام الماضي ٤٨/٧٥ كاف بشأن الوقف الاختياري لتصدير اﻷلغام البرية المضادة لﻷفراد.

Recalling with satisfaction its resolutions 49/75 D of 15 December 1994 and 48/75 of 16 December 1993, in which it, inter alia, called upon States to agree to a Moratorium on the export of anti-personnel land-mines that pose grave dangers to civilian populations, and urged States to implement moratoria on the export of anti-personnel land-mines,
إذ تشير مع الارتياح الى قراريها ٤٩/٧٥ دال المؤرخ ١٥ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٤ و ٤٨/٧٥ المؤرخ ١٦ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣، اللذين طلبت فيهما في جملة أمور، الى الدول أن توافق على الوقف الاختياري لتصدير اﻷلغام البرية المضادة لﻷفراد التي تشكل خطرا بالغا على السكان المدنيين، وحثت الدول على تنفيذ الوقف الاختياري لتصدير اﻷلغام البرية المضادة لﻷفراد،

1. The Permanent Mission of Israel to the United Nations presents its compliments to the Secretary-General and has the honour to bring to his attention the decision of the Government of Israel to extend the moratorium on export of anti-personnel landmines for a further period of three years.
١ - تهدي البعثة الدائمة لاسرائيل لدى اﻷمم المتحدة تحياتها إلى اﻷمين العام لﻷمم المتحدة، وتتشرف بأن تحيطه علما بقرار الحكومة الاسرائيلية تمديد الوقف الاختياري لتصدير اﻷلغام البرية المضادة لﻷفراد لفترة أخرى قوامها ثلاث سنوات.

Another important element is the declaration by States of moratoriums on the export of anti-personnel land-mines.

Thus, we agree with the Secretary-General's report in document A/49/275 on a moratorium on the exporting of anti-personnel land-mines.
