تعطى اجازة اﻷمومة في الوقت الحاضر لمدة ستة أسابيع قبل الولادة وثمانية أسابيع بعد الولادة في حالة الحمل العادي ولمدة عشرة أسابيع قبل الولادة وثمانية أسابيع بعد الولادة في حالة الولادات المتعددة .
