Turning to item 94, she said her country fully recognized the right to self-determination as a basic human right and fundamental principle of international law.
٣٩ - وأوضحت، لدى تطرقها الى البند ٩٤، أن بلدها يعترف اعترافا تاما بالحق في تقرير المصير بوصفه حقا أساسيا من حقوق اﻹنسان ومبدأ أساسيا من مبادئ القانون الدولي.

Turning to item 104, he said that the European Union reaffirmed its full recognition of the right to self-determination, the exercise of which was intrinsically linked to the enjoyment of other human rights.
٥ - وانتقل الى البند ١٠٤، فقال إن الاتحاد اﻷوروبي يؤكد من جديد اعترافه التام بحق تقرير المصير، الذي ترتبط ممارسته ارتباطا جوهريا بالتمتع بحقوق اﻹنسان اﻷخرى.

At the opening meeting of the Committee, the view was expressed that a sub-item covering the methods of work of the Committee and its subsidiary bodies should be added to item 9 of the provisional agenda, entitled " Other matters " .

He also drew the attention of the Working Group to item 8 of the provisional agenda concerning a permanent forum for indigenous people within the United Nations system and to Commission on Human Rights resolution 1994/28 of 4 March 1994, in which the Commission requested the Working Group to consider the possible establishment of such a forum.
