15. The draft resolution sought to draw the attention of all Member States to the issue and encouraged all relevant actors to give due consideration to the Principles and Guidelines.

16. In a note verbale dated 27 March 2008, the Chairman of the Committee drew the attention of all Member States to paragraph 13 of resolution 1803 (2008).

In conclusion, the Government stressed that it considers it its duty to draw the attention of all Member States and non-governmental organizations to the urgent need to effectively implement genuine cooperation and uphold dialogue as proclaimed by the Charter of the United Nations.
