On the other hand, the reference to “gross violations of international humanitarian law” seems to be somewhat imprecise, thus opening questions as to the scope of the applicability of universal jurisdiction over violations of international humanitarian law (i.e. whether it refers solely to grave breaches or to other violations as well).
ومن ناحية أخرى، تبدو اﻹشارة الى " الانتهاكات الجسيمة للقانون الانساني الدولي " غير دقيقة الى حد ما، وبالتالي فإنها تفسح المجال أمام تساؤلات تتعلق بنطاق تطبيق الاختصاص القضائي العالمي على انتهاكات القانون الانساني الدولي )أي معرفة ما اذا كانت اﻹشارة تتعلق بالانتهاكات الخطيرة فحسب أم بسائر الانتهاكات أيضا(.
