At its fifty-sixth session, the General Assembly included in the provisional agenda of its fifty-seventh session an item entitled " Elimination of unilateral extraterritorial coercive economic measures as a means of political and economic compulsion " and decided to continue to consider it at odd-numbered sessions (decision 56/455) (see items 31 and 53 above).

The amendment also permits punishments for the listed offences that may be regarded as more severe than the punishments allowed under applicable law where the offence was committed. (see items 23 and 39, Concluding Observations.) A committee has also been instructed to review the reasons for and against repealing or restricting the requirement for dual criminality for human trafficking crimes.
ويسمح التعديل أيضاً بأن توقع على الجرائم المذكورة عقوبات يمكن اعتبارها أشد من العقوبات التي يسمح بها القانون النافذ في البلد الذي ارتكبت فيه الجريمة.
