The remaining additional requirements in the amount of $382,244 gross ($199,244 net) are attributable mainly to the upward revision in local staff salaries by 61.8 per cent effective 1 March 1997; the share of UNIFIL towards the financing of the United Nations Logistics Base, Brindisi; and the recording of certain expenditures pertaining to the financial period ending 30 June 1996 in the reporting period.
وتعزى الاحتياجــات اﻹضافية المتبقية وإجماليها ٢٤٤ ٣٨٢ دولارا )صافيها ٢٤٤ ١٩٩ دولارا( الى التنقيح بالزيادة لمرتبات الموظفين المحليين بنسبة ٦١,٨ في المائة اعتبارا من ١ آذار/مارس ١٩٩٧؛ ومساهمة قوة اﻷمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان في تمويل قاعدة اﻷمم المتحدة للسوقيات في برينديزي؛ وقيد بعض النفقات المتعلقة بالفترة المالية المنتهية في ٣٠ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٦ في الفترة المشمولة بالتقرير.

6. Acknowledges the successful substantial completion of the construction of additional office facilities, and requests the Secretary-General to ensure the completion of the remaining ancillary work by June 2015;
