25. The Committee is concerned at the persistence of deep-rooted patriarchal attitudes and stereotypes in respect of women's roles and responsibilities which discriminate against women and perpetuate their subordination within the family and society and have been exacerbated by the sectarian and religious divisions in the State party.

14. In 2009, CEDAW reiterated its concern about the deeply rooted patriarchal attitudes and strong stereotypes regarding women's roles and responsibilities in the family and society.
14- في عام 2009، أعربت اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة عن قلقها مجدداً إزاء تلك المواقف المتجذرة في أعماق المجتمع القائمة على السلطة الأبوية والقوالب النمطية الراسخة فيما يتعلق بأدوار المرأة ومسؤولياتها في الأسرة والمجتمع(37).

19. The Committee reiterates its concern about the strong persistence of patriarchal attitudes and deep-rooted stereotypes concerning women's roles and responsibilities that discriminate against women and perpetuate their subordination within the family and society, and in particular in rural areas (CEDAW/C/BFA/CO/4-5, para. 27).
19- تكرر اللجنة الإعراب عن قلقها إزاء الاستمرار القوي للمواقف الأبوية والقوالب النمطية المتجذرة المتعلقة بأدوار المرأة ومسؤولياتها والتي تنطوي على تمييز ضدها وتواصل إخضاعها داخل الأسرة والمجتمع، وخاصة في المناطق الريفية (CEDAW/C/BFA/CO/4-5، الفقرة 27).

20. While welcoming the numerous measures taken, including programmes or strategies in place to combat negative stereotypes pertaining to the roles of women and men, the Committee remains concerned about the persistence of patriarchal attitudes and deep-rooted stereotypes concerning women's roles and responsibilities that discriminate against women and perpetuate their subordination within the family and society.

19. CEDAW remained concerned about patriarchal attitudes and deep-rooted stereotypes concerning women's roles and responsibilities as well as the position of women and girls in rural areas, which was characterized by poverty, illiteracy and difficulties with access to health and social services.
19- وقالت اللجنة المعنية بالقضاء على التمييز ضد المرأة إنها لا تزال تشعر بالقلق إزاء المواقف الأبوية والقوالب النمطية المتجذرة فيما يتعلق بأدوار المرأة ومسؤولياتها(46)، وكذلك إزاء وضع النساء والفتيات في المناطق الريفية حيث يعانين الفقر والأمية ويواجهن صعوبات في الحصول على الخدمات الصحية والاجتماعية(47).
