" 1. Upon being satisfied that the circumstances so warrant, the State Party in whose territory the alleged offender is present shall take the appropriate measures under its national law so as to ensure that person's presence for the purpose of prosecution or extradition.
" ١ - تتخذ الدولة الطرف التي يكون المدعَى أنه الجاني موجودا في إقليمها التدابير المناسبة، بموجب قانونها الوطني، لتأمين حضوره لغرض مقاضاته أو تسليمه، عند اقتناعها بأن الظروف تبرر ذلك.

" ١ - تتخذ الدولة الطرف التي يكون المدعى أنه الجاني موجودا في إقليمها التدابير المناسبة، بموجب قانونها الوطني، لتأمين حضوره لغرض مقاضاته أو تسليمه، عند اقتناعها بأن الظروف تبرر ذلك.

5. Upon being satisfied that the circumstances so warrant, any State Party in the territory of which the offender or the alleged offender is present shall, in accordance with its laws, take that person into custody or take other measures to ensure that person’s presence for such time as is necessary to enable any criminal or extradition proceedings to be instituted.
٥- تقوم الدولة الطرف التي يوجد في إقليمها مرتكب الجريمة أو الشخص المنسوب له ارتكابها، وفقا لقوانينها، باحتجاز هذا الشخص أو باتخاذ تدابير أخرى لضمان حضور هذا الشخص عند إجراءات التسليم بما يلزم للبدء في أي إجراءات جنائية أو إجراءات تسليم، وذلك متى اقتنعت بأن الظروف تبرر ذلك.

8. Subject to the provisions of its domestic law and its extradition treaties, the requested State Party may, upon being satisfied that the circumstances so warrant and are urgent, and at the request of the requesting Party, take a person whose extradition is sought and who is present in its territory into custody or take other appropriate measures to ensure his presence at extradition proceedings.
8 - يجوز للدولة المتلقية الطلب، رهنا بأحكام قانونها الداخلي وما تبرمه من معاهدات لتسليم المجرمين، ولدى اقتناعها بأن الظروف تبرر ذلك وبأنها ظروف عاجلة، وبناء على طلب الدولة الطرف الطالبة، أن تحتجز الشخص المطلوب تسليمه والموجود في اقليمها، أو أن تتخذ غير ذلك من التدابير الملائمة لضمان حضوره عند اجراءات التسليم.
