وإذ تدين الأعمال الإجرامية التي ترتكبها الجماعات والحركات الإرهابية والمتطرفة ضد المدنيين من مختلف الأديان والمعتقدات، تحت ستار اعتناق أي دين أو معتقد، وإذ تعرب عن عميق أسفها إزاء محاولات ربط هذه الأعمال بأي دين أو معتقد واحد بعينه،

(د) أن تكفل، على وجه الخصوص، حق جميع الأشخاص في العبادة أو التجمع فيما يتعلق بأي دين أو معتقد وفي إقامة وإدارة الأماكن اللازمة لهذه الأغراض، وحق جميع الأشخاص في كتابة وإصدار جميع المنشورات ذات الصلة في هذه المجالات؛

(d) To ensure, in particular, the right of all persons to worship or assemble in connection with a religion or belief and to establish and maintain places for these purposes, as well as the right of all persons to write, issue and disseminate relevant publications in these areas, taking into account the limitations contained in article 29 of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights;

7. The Special Rapporteur would like to emphasize that theistic, non-theistic and atheistic believers and those who do not profess any religion or belief are equally protected.
وتود المقررة الخاصة أن تؤكد أن الحماية تُوفَّر على قدم المساواة لأصحاب المعتقدات التوحيدية وغير التوحيدية والإلحادية ومن لا يؤمنون بأي دين أو معتقد.

31. Because of its universal nature as a human right, freedom of religion or belief had a broad scope of application, protecting theistic, non-theistic and atheistic beliefs, as well as the right not to profess any religion or belief.
31 - ونظرا لتميز حرية الدين أو المعتقد، بطابعها الشامل كحق من حقوق الإنسان، فإن نطاق إعمالها واسع، فهو يحمي العقائد التوحيدية واللاتوحيدية والإلحادية، فضلا عن الحق في عدم الإيمان بأي دين أو معتقد.

22. This prohibited ground of discrimination covers the profession of religion or belief of one's choice (including the non-profession of any religion or belief), that may be publicly or privately manifested in worship, observance, practice and teaching.
22- يشمل هذا السبب من أسباب التمييز المحظورة مجاهرةَ الشخص بالدين أو المعتقد الذي يختاره (بما في ذلك عدم المجاهرة بأي دين أو معتقد) التي يمكن التعبير عنها علانية أو في المجال الخاص في العبادة وإقامة الشعائر والممارسة والتدريس().
