In the same resolution, the Commission welcomed the readiness of the international community to support the financing of the new phase of the Paris Pact project as an initiative addressing both supply and demand concerns over the heroin trafficking routes; and requested the Executive Director of UNODC to report to it at its fifty-first session on the measures taken and on progress achieved in the implementation of the resolution.
