The United States organized the session on behalf of the Working Group and served as chair, with papers presented by members from Canada, the Philippines and South Africa.

7. At the 13th meeting, on 6 November, the representative of India, on behalf of the Working Group and Austria, introduced a draft resolution entitled " International cooperation in the peaceful uses of outer space " (A/C.4/52/L.8).

14. The Working Group agreed to address a message to all parties to the armed conflict in the Sudan, in particular those groups mentioned in the report of the Secretary-General, through a public statement by its Chairperson on behalf of the Working Group:

21. On 10 March 2008, Mr. Corcuera addressed the Human Rights Council in the framework of the presentation of the 2007 annual report and, on behalf of the Working Group, welcomed the adoption of the Convention and invited all States to ratify it.

61. Members engaging in intersessional activities are not empowered to make commitments or decisions on behalf of the Working Group unless there is a specific delegation of power given to him or her by the Working Group.

86. Ms. Moreno Guerra (Cuba), introducing draft resolution A/C.3/69/L.45 on behalf of the Working Group on Human Rights of the Non-Aligned Movement, said that the sponsors had proposed a number of revisions.

91. Ms. Moreno Guerra (Cuba), introducing the draft resolution on behalf of the Working Group on Human Rights of the Non-Aligned Movement , said that the sponsors wished to orally revise the draft resolution.
٩١ - السيدة مورينو غيرا (كوبا): عرضت مشروع القرار باسم الفريق العامل المعني بحقوق الإنسان التابع لحركة عدم الانحياز، فقالت إن مقدمي مشروع القرار يرغبون في تنقيح مشروع القرار شفوياً.

1. Mr. KRETZMER, speaking on behalf of the Working Group, said that in general, it was of the view that States parties were required to reply to too many questions, and was prepared to do away with some of them if that was the desire of members of the Committee.

34. The speaker recalled that, the year before, Mrs. Sophia Ann Harris had first addressed the Committee on behalf of the Working Group, which had been created by non-governmental organizations and initiative groups to study constitutional issues and to keep the public of the Cayman Islands informed of the constitutional review underway.
