The first working group focused on GNSS applications and space weather effects on GNSS; the second working group discussed issues related to reference frames and coordinate systems.

9- ولاحظ الفريق العامل دال المعني بالأطر المرجعية والتوقيت والتطبيقات حدوث تقدم ملحوظ بشأن الأطر المرجعية الجيوديسية والتوقيتية لمقدمي خدمات النظم العالمية لسواتل الملاحة الممثَّلين حاليا في اللجنة الدولية.

14. Working Group D, on reference frames, timing and applications, apprised ICG of developments within the Economic and Social Council to establish the Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management, and within the Working Group on Global Geodetic Reference Frame.
14- وأحاط الفريق العامل دال، المعني بالأطر المرجعية والتوقيت والتطبيقات، اللجنة الدولية علماً بالتطورات داخل المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي للأمم المتحدة في نيويورك بشأن إنشاء لجنة خبراء تعنى بإدارة المعلومات الجغرافية على الصعيد العالمي، وفريق عامل يعنى بالأطر المرجعية الجيوديسية العالمية.

ICG agreed that Working Group D on interaction with national and regional authorities and relevant international organizations should be referred to as Working Group D on reference frames, timing and applications, in order to better reflect the nature of the activities carried out by that Working Group.
27- ووافقت اللجنةُ الدولية على أنَّ الفريق العامل دال المعني بالتفاعل مع السلطات الوطنية والإقليمية والمنظمات الدولية ذات الصلة ينبغي أن يُشار إليه باعتباره الفريق العامل دال المعني بالأطر المرجعية والتوقيت والتطبيقات، لكي تتجسّد على نحوٍ أفضل طبيعة الأنشطة التي يضطلع بها ذلك الفريق العامل.

Working Group A on compatibility and interoperability submitted six recommendations; Working Group B on enhancement of the performance of GNSS services submitted seven recommendations; Working Group C on information dissemination and capacity-building submitted two recommendations; Working Group D on reference frames, timing and applications submitted five recommendations.

9. The Providers' Forum took note of a programme on GNSS applications focusing on building capacity, specifically by deploying instruments for the International Space Weather Initiative, developing a GNSS curriculum, utilizing regional reference frames and applying GNSS in various areas to support sustainable development.
9- أحاط منتدى مقدِّمي الخدمات علماً بالبرنامج المتعلق بتطبيقات النظم العالمية لسواتل الملاحة المركّز على بناء القدرات، خصوصاً بنشر الأجهزة اللازمة لتنفيذ المبادرة الدولية بشأن طقس الفضاء، ووضع منهاج دراسي خاص بالنظم العالمية لسواتل الملاحة، مع الاستفادة بالأطر المرجعية الإقليمية وتطبيق النظم العالمية لسواتل الملاحة في شتى المجالات دعماً للتنمية المستدامة.
