In accordance with General Assembly resolutions 35/81, 59/250, 62/208, 63/232, 63/311 and 64/289, the present report of the Secretary-General provides an analysis of core and non-core contributions and expenditures for operational activities for development of the United Nations system for the year 2009.

6. With regard to access to information, in resolution 63/311 the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to establish a central repository of information on operational activities for development of the United Nations system.
6 - وفيما يتعلق بالحصول على المعلومات، طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى الأمين العام في القرار 63/311 أن ينشئ قاعدة بيانات مركزية للمعلومات المتعلقة بالأنشطة التنفيذية لأغراض التنمية التي تضطلع بها منظومة الأمم المتحدة.

It is complemented by the report of the Secretary-General on the comprehensive statistical data on operational activities for development for the year 2002 (A/59/84-E/2004/53) and the preliminary statistical data for the year 2003 (A/59/386), and three conference room papers submitted to the Economic and Social Council in July 2004 (E/2004/CRP.7, 9 and 10).
