22. The Interdepartmental Task Force on Accessibility has reviewed the policies and practices of other United Nations organizations and entities to identify possible solutions, as well as obstacles and gaps that might hinder the full and equal participation of persons with disabilities in the work of the Organization.

Other United Nations entities reported a wide range of efforts to advance Accessibility by providing or developing Accessibility guidelines, preparing information material in accessible format and promoting accessible information and communications technology.

14. A number of States, including Mexico, Mozambique, Qatar, Spain and Uruguay, indicated that they had included disability in their national development strategies or had developed specific plans to advance the inclusion of persons with disabilities, including through Accessibility measures.
