When the Forum receives an appeal for a specific case of a gross human rights violation, the Forum's Bureau could analyse the situation, in consultation with the Special Rapporteur on the human rights and fundamental freedoms of indigenous people, and, if it deems it appropriate, consider extending its good offices vis-à-vis a government appealing for correction of the situation.

62. The question of " honour killings " , including dowry murders and the killing of widows, was addressed by the previous Special Rapporteur in consultation with the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions.

At its fifty-first session, in 1999, the International Law Commission decided that the Secretariat, in consultation with the Special Rapporteur on the topic " Unilateral acts of States " , should elaborate and send to Governments a questionnaire requesting materials and inquiring about their practice in the area of unilateral acts, as well as their position on certain aspects of the Commission's study on the topic.

29. The Commission recommended that the Secretariat, in consultation with the Special Rapporteur on reservations to treaties, organize a meeting, during the fifty-ninth session of the Commission, with United Nations experts in the field of human rights, including representatives of monitoring bodies, in order to hold a discussion on issues relating to reservations to human rights treaties.
29- أوصت اللجنة بأن تنظم الأمانة، بالتشاور مع المقرر الخاص المعني بالتحفظات على المعاهدات اجتماعاً، يُعقد أثناء الدورة التاسعة والخمسين للجنة، مع خبراء من الأمم المتحدة في ميدان حقوق الإنسان، من بينهم ممثلون لهيئات رصد المعاهدات، من أجل إجراء مناقشة بشأن القضايا المتعلقة بالتحفظات على معاهدات حقوق الإنسان.
